John Johnston is an Emmy award-winning journalist, experienced show runner and executive producer who’s created hit shows and daily syndicated strips, building them from the ground up. Now John is bringing more than 30 years of experience in television to Clarity’s Los Angeles office.
John is one of the few EP’s who has spent a great deal of time in the field and in front of a camera. That experience gives John a keen understanding of what contributes to a flawless media appearance, and he teaches Clarity’s West Coast clients how to achieve that. He has worked with celebrity stylists and beauty experts, fashion spokespeople and executives, authors, network show runners for AMC, tech/digital clients and many more.

John started as a local, hard news, reporter and for 8 years he covered the biggest stories in the world as an on air correspondent for the groundbreaking syndicated television news magazine, “A Current Affair”. John’s unique sensibilities and insight also brought a rare, human quality to the world of sports. He was a correspondent, and managing editor for “Going Deep” an investigative television sports magazine for Fox Sports Net.
