Bill Cassara has prepared Clarity clients for media appearances on top networks on-air voiceover/teleprompter segments, SMTs, and dozens of presentations. His client roster includes C-suite executives, leading music industry experts, book authors, beauty/hair stylists and network correspondents. He’s worked closely with Facebook, Fordham University, L’Oreal, InStyle, Diageo, Prevention Magazine, NBC and CBS News.
Prior to joining Clarity, Bill spent 20 years as a director of photography on CBS’s 60 Minutes. His experience in both long-form journalism and hard-news gives him a keen awareness of the ways clients can insure that their best sound bites don’t get left on the cutting room floor.
Bill has spearheaded production teams on interviews with every United States President since Ronald Reagan, as well as the Rolling Stones and Bode Miller. Bill’s experience with newsmakers and with the reporters who shape the news brings another unique perspective to preparing clients for media interviews and public speaking.
Bill also has management experience, as owner of Stable Images Inc. and as account manager for BMW N.A.’s Production Center Since 2010. He also has a wide range of credits in full-length documentary film production from Producer to Director of Photography. Bill conducts journalism seminars and workshops for graduate students at the Columbia University School of Journalism and enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of journalists and opinion-makers.
